Our research on flywheel businesses in the analytical tradition of Munger, Buffett, and Pabrai, studying advantages that strengthen with scale, cash-flow durability, and management quality. We publish the analysis; we do not manage money or make recommendations.
The approach
We study a focused set of businesses that share three traits: advantages that strengthen with scale, accelerating free cash flow, and managers who think like owners. The aim is to understand a small number of exceptional companies deeply rather than to skim many superficially.
Each company below links to a research note, the analysis of how the business works and where it sits in its flywheel. These notes record our reasoning and present both strengths and risks, so readers can form their own views. They are not recommendations.
